Warnings and Precautions

• Except for the components sold by our company as internal components, using accessories other than those specified may lead to an increase in the device’s emission or a decrease in its immunity.
• The replaceable components are the viewing blades, the handle, and the batteries. The viewing blades and the handle should be provided by our company. Using other components or materials will reduce the minimum safety level.
• If the anesthesia laryngoscope is not going to be used for a certain period, the batteries should be removed.
• If the connection between the viewing blade and the handle is loose after assembly, do not use the product.
• This product is for repeated use and should not be used in combination with other medical instruments.

Suggestions for Cleaning and Disinfection

Cleaning

• Prepare or dilute an enzymatic cleaning solution. Disassemble the handle and the viewing blade, and wipe all exposed surfaces of the laryngoscope with a preparation solution made of purified water. Wipe both the handle and the viewing blade for no less than 2 minutes.
• Do not use chemical disinfectants containing corrosive substances, such as bleach, hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite, etc. Using these will cause damage to the instrument. Boiling and high-pressure sterilization are prohibited.
• Let the anesthesia laryngoscope air dry, and then wipe all exposed surfaces with sterile cotton balls until there is no residue.

Disinfection

• Immediately rinse the viewing blade thoroughly with running water after use. Gently scrub the surface of the viewing blade with a soft brush in soapy water to prevent the accumulation of surface residues. Do not scrub with a hard brush to avoid damaging the surface of the lens.
• Wipe the laryngoscope with a disinfectant solution and let it air dry for 20 minutes.
• Wipe all exposed surfaces with a sterile pad dipped in sterile water and a disinfectant solution.
• For moderate disinfection, wipe the handle and the viewing blade with a 70% ethanol swab for 2 minutes each.
